Unregulated Online Gambling Is Putting Consumers at Risk

It’s happening every day — with no safeguards, no oversight, and no benefits for our communities. It’s time to legalize and regulate iGaming.

What’s Going On?

Right now in many states, online casino gaming — also known as iGaming — is happening in the shadows. People are spending billions on offshore websites that:

  • Don’t verify age or identity

  • Don’t offer responsible gambling tools

  • Don’t protect users when things go wrong

  • Don’t contribute a single dollar back to Louisiana

That means no help for schools. No funding for roads or hospitals. And no way to protect young or vulnerable users.

We can change that. Legalizing iGaming is the only way to regulate this growing market. With smart, state-level legislation, we can enforce age and identity verification, provide better consumer protections, generate millions in tax revenue to support public services, and keep gaming fair, transparent, and accountable.
