Legal sports betting is a critical source of funding for Colorado’s water conservation projects. 

Last year, legal sports betting brought in $44 million for Colorado, and most of that went directly to water projects. Now, lawmakers are considering a bill that would restrict legal sports betting and drain $90 to $100 million in water funding over just three years.
